It could use a little updating on the inside but its as authentic as you can get here. My fiance and I go almost every morning to get a cortiditio, the ladys up front know us and know what we like and I really like that about this place. Its like they know us.

Best service ever . Everything is made fresh and delicious, the staff always remembers you and always received you with a smile. I recommend the tostadas, orange juice, pastelitos de carne, empanada de jamon y queso y la de pollo, and their pastry dessert are the best... Yumm yumm yumm

When the hotel breakfast just won't cut it this local gem is a must try! The staff entertained the obvious curious tourists. I'm smitten with cafecito now and plan to spend the next few days chasing them down all over town. The pastries are great, very fresh, and come in a wide variety.

Ok, I'm giving 5 stars but you have realize I'm very biased when it comes to Miami Springs and it's restaurants/businesses. That being said of my 36 years on this earth I've probably been coming to Vito's for 36 years. I went to the school next door and my mom would take us there for snacks after school. My father would love to come here and talk Cuban politics with the Cubans. Now as an adult this isn't the best Cuban bakery in town, it's probably a 3 star bakery. What Vito's appeal is that whatever time of day you go there, you'll feel welcome by the staff and the other patrons. Vito's Bakery has been a staple in the Miami Springs/Virginia Gardens/36 St/Airport area for a very very long time! Unfortunately Vito passed away earlier this year but the porch has been passed down to his twin daughters. So if your in the area and need a cafecito, tostada, croquette, or pastelito stop by!
